Hey All,

I finally got a Stanley 45, but it didn't come with any blades.

Anyone have a recommendation on where to find some blades other than eBay?

Also need a set of long rods too.

Thanks,
-Kevin

The next M-WTCA meeting is Nov 7 in Bethania (N. Winston-Salem). Good place to find them...sometimes all together without the ebay prices. Details will be posted when I get them. I'm not sure of the name of the church where we meet but I'm pretty sure it's the only one and on Main St. Bethania is a very small place. Don't blink.

Try the Tool Fool or Bob Kaune's website. Of course there is also eBay.

Re: Where to find blades for Stanley 45

Thanks all for the heads up.

ebay prices have been a bit crazy to me.

I think that attending a M-WTCA might be the best idea. That way I can touch see before buying.

Thanks,
-Kevin

Here is another gentleman that makes blades and is a member of this forum.

I have some of his blades and they work great. Just a satisfied customer.

Have a Blessed day.

The best source I have found for #45 blades is Stanley. They sell the plow sets for about $25.

Wow Jim... thanks! I had no idea Stanley still sold replacement blades. I'll be ordering that plow set for $30 to see what they're like.

FYI for others, here is a link to the cutters they sell:
