Was lucky enough to be first in line on purchasing the bench from woodguy! While there, I also got to meet gotojeremy while he was picking up some wood. Wanted to thank them both for the help loading the bench, for a tour of woodguys shop and good conversation. The "Penguin" bench has found a home! Now if my broken fingers would hurry up and heal, I have quite a few projects to start. Thanks again!

Great looking bench! You have earned a YOU SUCK!

I hate to see John paring down, but glad to see this stuff staying in the North Carolina Woodworker family!

Let me offer a heartfelt YOU SUCK!!!

I have been building my bench for the past month. You just don't know how I wish I'd come across one ready-built. Mine doesn't have a pattern makers vise either.

I'm glad John's bench has found a new home.

Jeremy, it was a pleasure meeting you also! Just had to back the trailer into my garage for the night. A friend is coming in the morning to help me
...unload the bench
...put my new Benchdog Table extension and Prolift on my Table Saw
...and put the meds on my 6 hives of honeybees!
Thank God for Friends!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait for my hand to heal! How long before compound fractures in your hand to heal anyway? I'm hoping that the Doctors appointment in 3 weeks is to take this stupid splint off! I guess that was better than my other option of surgery and screws in my hand!

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Funny that you can do a search for "Penguin" and get that many matches on a woodworking forum! Exactly what I did and read them all, found the game, watched the penguin write a message! Definitely know that I am on the right forum now! From Monty's huge thread on his bench down through history with John's. Man, this bench has a lot of Good Mojo! I promise I'll treat her right and keep her in the family! Great bunch of people here, I could tell from the reading! I am honored to have had the luck to end up with it! And it was hard, just happened to sell a flyrod on a "Buy it Now" on ebay to even have the cash after the router extension, lift, JDS Air filter and other toys I bought last week! Just was about to turn the bench down and bam "Instant Payment" on Paypal. Tell you! It was a sign!
The Penguin bench was meant to be mine, all mine! My pretty precious!
