Talking

I stopped by Raleigh Hardwoods today to see what they had in curly Maple stock. I am not thrilled with the figure in the stock I have remaining for the drawer fronts on my jewelry box. I asked a guy in the warehouse if they had any. I was told that they didn't carry stock like that, but he often found boards with nice figure in normal soft Maple shipments and would set them aside for certain customers. He showed me a few boards, I wasn't too impressed. Then he climbed back behind on rack and came out with da' bomb!!!! board. 12" wide 8' long, very highly figured, much more than I needed, but the curly called to me. It came out to 8 B.F. and he told me to tell the girl to ring me up as soft Maple. With a small TWA discount, and adding tax, it came to $4.60 a B.F.. That's about $1.50 cheaper than anywhere else I've got curly Maple from. I am at work and don't have my camera, I post a pic tonight, man it is one pretty board

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.
