It has finally cooled down enough for me to do some shop work so I started this table to be used on the deck at our beach house. Maybe I can actually set down a cool beverage once in a while now The top is two rings that sandwitch the slats in place. The bottom will have stretchers and tapered legs when compleated. I wish I had seen the latest issue of FWW before I cut out the legs. They show a neat jig to cut the angles. Looks like a real time saver.

Cool table, Larry Are you going to apply a finish or just let it weather?

Tracy, the basic design idea came from a table Norm did. I think he called it a cricket table. The top is my idea. Randy, I bought some marine grade varnish to finish it with.

Nice Job Larry, I built Norm's Cricket Table a number of years ago. I agree that the angles can make the project challenging.
