I was in the new Woodcraft in Raleigh yesterday and saw a pretty neat air compressor alternative called a JacPac Regulator...it's a portable, CO2 based system that you can connect to a pneumatic brad nailer. I need a nailer, but don't have the room for a compressor, hose, etc... Has anyone ever used this?

It looks like a neat system, but I don't think it would a very cost effective solution. How much do the replacement cartridges cost and how many shots do you get from a canister?

Lowes has a similar product that gives you about 300 shots for canister replacement of around $30

Would a Tankless compressor work for you?

Do a google search on a Campbell Hausfeld FP2004.

It says it will do brad nailer. I'm not sure what gauge.

It comes with a cartridge and they can be refilled at places like a paintball supply store and everything I read about it says that it does about 500 shots.
