It became really imperative to post this after I picked up 3 of the last 4 low priced K clamps in Raleigh for someone else, so my sanity is in question. Well, here is what I think a deal is:

The clamps are Besseys, the scraper is a Veritas, the back saw an older Buck Bros and the block plane is a no name but made in USA vintage item with lots of steel left. I had another hacksaw that wasn't as deep and an import backsaw. There were also some things I got in this lot that were dupes so I threw them on the table with my old hacksaw and backsaw when we had a garage sale. I only got about $8 or so for the stuff I sold, but that offset my purchase price to make the above cost me $-3. Yep, negative three dollars; I paid $5 for 3 big Bessey F clamps, a Veritas scraper, a US made block plane, a decent back saw, hack saw and assorted other stuff (there was also a brass plumb bob and a line level that aren't n the picture). So forgive me for not getting too excited about the Stanley K clamp deal. I was happy to spread the wealth.

Andy, that is what I call a deal! Getting positive cashflow for removing an unwanted tool from someone's pile.
