You know, that's a great idea. All the flattery aside (), I like the idea of a remote learning class, I haven't seen anything like that yet. Not for woodworking anyway. I think that is often the missing part. We learn about certain techniques & joinery from a book or online video, and see plans for something in a magazine, but what you'd normally learn in a hands-on class is absent.

Of course, this means I have to remember what I actually did But that shouldn't be too difficult. Let me get some measurements together, and we'll get crackin'!

Who knows, maybe we can make this a regular North Carolina Woodworker thing. Although the irony would be wonderful, a locally oriented web site doing cyberclasses...

I have been thinking on asking someone to do this for a while. With all the newby woodworkers here and even those of us who have been around we all can learn something. I am quite serious about doing this and excited that it might become a reality. Get crackin'!

BAS, I was thinking about making one of these but after reading your posts again I had a better idea.

Since you weren't totally happy with this "prototype", I'll take that one, and you can make the desired modifications on the next!
Both our problems solved!!

Hey Bas. Great way to be creative and solve your problem. Dust is my enemy too. So tell us, What new tool did you have to buy to complete this project?

Chris
