My oldest daughter has been after me to build her a small table for her rear entryway hallway. 'A place where we can drop off our keys, purses and wallets when we come in', Daddy'!!!

I went through my small stash of red oak and came up with this.

It is built using 3/8" dowel pins for the apron to leg joinery and halfblind dovetails for the drawer. It stands about 30" high and has a 16" x 16" top. There is a very slight taper in the legs (insides) from about an 1 1/2 down to 1" square at the feet. It was finished with a very light coat of Minwax Pecan stain and four coats of wipeon poly.

Needless to say after doing tables for the past four projects, I am ready for something new.)

Thanks for looking!

Wayne

PS ......Scott and Jeff. My supply of red oak is starting to get real low!!!!

Beautiful Wayne. The grain orientation as others have mentioned is awesome.

Re: Latest Project

Beautiful execution and the rather delicate lines and size are perfect for the hall space it lives in.
