I need to make QUICK work of a wedding card box (the box at the wedding that accepts envelopes/checks as gifts). I was going to go REALLY basic ... like a blanket chest, but figured I'd post here to see if anyone has any other good examples.

More/less this is a box about 10" tall and maybe 20" wide (somewhere in that range I suppose). I need to build it in about one day, so nothing over the top probably.

Re: Ideas? Wedding Card Box

Jeremy,
The ones that I have seen look like the one that you are talking about, just a simple box. Some have lids and clasps and others have had it so the bottom opens likke a trap door, keeping the rest of the box clean looking. All that I've seen have been painted white, some of them with a painted flower or scroll theme, usually in colors matching the wedding theme.

Hope it helps and good luck,
