| Re: Got a bow in my stock I would be concerned with working with stock that bowed on you after ripping. Especially the solid stock. When you say "bow" are you referring to a curvature like the bottom of a boat or side to side. A boat type bow can be worked with in ply by straightening it with some solid wood edging, but that has to be straight to start with. And you also can groove it on the router table by rocking the curve across the bit.
But you still have problems with unstable stock, you can force it flat/stright but how long will it stay that way.
