Hi all,

It's a couple of hours after the Thanksgiving gorge and I promised the wife I wouldn't work in the shop tonight. So .... I came in anyway - just to check my e-mail. As I walked thru the shop to get to my computer there it was. A piece of sawdust on the floor. I know, I know, no pix it didn't happen. So for all of you who responded to my Harpsichord Project wondering how come there's no sawdust, here it is, sitting
on a small piece of ebony for your viewing pleasure.

Hopefully this will put an end to the "no sawdust - no work done" theory.

While I'm busy not working tonight, I thought I'd take care of a couple of other things that happened recently. Last week I realized that most of my clamps had long since lost any semblance of respectability. So I got a bunch of new ones from HF and Rockler. When they arrived I realized I had a problem. My old 'state of the art in 1608' clamp racks were full and falling apart.

So I took some time off from harpsichord building to build me a new one.

After hours of planning and many SketchUP drawings I actually came up with this rack which has absolutely no room for expansion. If somebody gives me a clamp for Christmas I'll have to build another rack.

Finally, here's a photo of the shop after its latest bi-hourly cleaning.

That's it. Thanks for letting me get these serious issues out of my system. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Time to get back to not working.

Thanks Phillip.

Now I'm wondering . . . . if I found one piece of sawdust, could there be others lurking in some unseen place. I may not sleep tonight.

Technically, that's not sawdust. That's a shaving Nice clean shop BTW, I need to do some serious vacuuming to get all the particle board stuff up....

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.
