Well, it isn't much but it was fun to work with walnut for the first one (other than in cutting boards). I was pleased how much shine it had after sanding it down to 1500 grit. It is super slick. I rubbed in three layers of poly and it is good to go. The curves on the legs were a challenge to sand but I managed with an angle die grinder.

Nice piece! I love walnut! And any gas problem will go away. My 13 year old doberman hardly ever gasses us now.
Only problem with the dog feed/water stations is that everyone that sees the ones I have built wants one.
