Just a small table to put beside the back sliding doors. It's red oak with rock hard table top finish as I can see my LOML storing her watering can and wet yard gloves on it. She asked for a shelf but... this is what came out the other side of 3 months work/play in the shop. I figure I put about +- 25 hours into it.

Next project is a chimney cupboard for the bathroom. It has been requested that it be painted white. I figure poplar for that.

Thanks for looking.

Steve, nice looking table. That is 25 hours of enjoyment and skill building. As an added bonus you earned points with the LOYL. Who could ask for more.

Nice job on the table Steve. Did you use epoxy on the top?

Re: Finally finished a project

Thanks guys.
Trent,
I used Behlen Rockhard table top varnish from Woodcraft. It was not easy to put on and I got way more bubbles in it than I would have liked. It does create a hard thick finish. The first 2 coats I cut it 1 to1 and should have cut the other 2 coats but did not.
