East Wake Hardwoods

I made a trip to Roger's place yesterday. He is a really nice guy. Steve I am grateful for the North Carolina Woodworker 10% discount Anyway, Roger has some really nice stuff both for flat work and turning. The lathe in the back of his shop is the largest one I have ever seen, and he said it had bee cut down years ago. It was used to make ship masts. A LARGE Powermatic planer sits near the front of his shop, as does an old Oliver joiner. BTW. Roger is looking for a base for this monster so if anyone knows where one can be located I am sure he'd be appreciative.

Sorry, no pics but I didn't bring a camera.

Re: East Wake Hardwoods

Yes I am. The smell of freshly planed Ceder is all over my shop and garage. I am sure LOML will have words with me over the trail of it I am leaving throughout the house.

Maybe you do - buried under the sawdust. Just start keeping a bag of food around and you might pull it off!
