Does anyone have a good design or idea for a DBSMS DC?
I'm about to go nuts trying to keep the dust down. I have
a DC system similar to the Griz 1029 that I use on the other
machines in the shop. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
Also, is there any information on this site reviewing table top
jointers? I need a jointer badly but just don't have much room in
my dinky little shop.
HELP!!!

I'm unable to find it though...
I'm hoping someone else will chime in here.

Actually I used PVC pipe instead of hose. The top is angled down from front to back and the sides are aso angled so that the dust all is thrown to the back and to the opening for dust collection. |

I did find SteveD's photo of his unit but it is not for a sliding saw.
I guess I'll just have to wing it to find out what works for me.
Thanks again for the input and idea's.

I used a HVAC supply outlet and shaped it to fit like I needed. The 4" opening I directed toward a 5 gal. bucket to catch the sawdust until I get a read duct collection system.
It is not pretty but it fills the bucket with saw dust. |
