Check your Lowes stores. They are restocking with the new style Bessey clamps and selling off the older style ones. They told me 20% off and I told them I would take all the had left for a better price. Sales person called the manager and I got these for 110.00 It never hurts to ask - you usually can get a great deal

Re: Clamp Gloat

If I buy any more clamps, I'm going to need another clamp cart. Heck, I already need another clamp cart.

Re: Clamp Gloat

Great deal on some high end clamps. Let's not forget the the guy just starting out. I still like my tradesman by bassey you can get at a set of 30 ( 6 in each size 48,36,24,12,and 6) for around $300. Its a great set for the beginner but, for the guys just getting started buy two sets if you plan any larger projects If you are looking for these clamps and can't wait for a show. (amazon.com)

Re: Clamp Gloat

Be very careful making statements like that. The Woodworking Gods are frowning on you at this point. I think you should say "YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY CLAMPS" at least ten times.

Re: Clamp Gloat

Dino - Thanks for the heads up. I went to my local Lowes yesterday. They had the K-bodies on the clearance table but still marked at retail cost. I talked to the salesman in tools, he called the store mgr, and I ended up getting 50 percent off. Good nuff for me to pick up 8 clamps!

(I know, no pics, didn't happen...just too lazy to walk out to the shop and take pics)
