The Vietnam Memorial Wall replica half size version of the original in Washington DC that has been touring the country for 20 years will be in Warsaw NC at the Veterans Park May 3-6, 2007. The Warsaw VFW post is sponsoring the visit of the wall.

All names on the wall will be read during the 4 day event. This has only been done 3 times since the wall has been on tour. Volunteers are needed to read the names as well as help with other activities during the 4 day event. If you desire to volunteer you call call Frank Miller, VFW Post Commander, at 910-296-1475.

Warsaw is easily reached via Exit 364 off I40. I have been told the wall can be visited anything day or night during the event after it is set up. The original wall in Washington DC is the nation's most visited memorial. After several visits it is still the most emotional memorial that I have ever visited.
