Group Buy from Ingersoll Rand

Well I talked to the powers to be at work and they said if I wanted to put together a quantity purchase of compressors it was no problem. If anybody is interested get back to me with your info.I have 6 different models that are currently in stock and they range from a Garagemate 24 gallon unit up to a 80 gallon,175 psi,24 cfm @175 psi 230 volt unit that is 2 stg.I'll post the model numbers if there is any interest.I will say that in one of the post earlier this week somebody had bought a 60 gallon 135 psi unit for $999 and I can get that one for around $750.The bigger the unit the more I can save you. They are shipping included and have the start up kits included also. They will be shipped to my work area and we will have to deal with the distribution.Warranties are 2 years on most if not all the units.

Re: Group Buy from Ingersoll Rand

25% off is a good deal -- I'd be interested in more information (models, basic specs, power requirements), but don't think I'll be able to swing one right now...

I'd be interested in knowing what the cost of the 5hp/60gal would be.

Re: Group Buy from Ingersoll Rand

Greg, good deal on the compressors. I have an IR already. It is 14 years old and still ticking, or should that be pumping. If I didn't already, I would jump in the group. For those of you considering, I will say that I have been around IR compressors all of my adult life and they really are a quality product. Never seen one fail, although I am sure there are some that have.

Re: Group Buy from Ingersoll Rand

Guys,
the selection will vary at times and I will keep checking.I can do this once a year so I will probably wait till I can order at least 4 or 5 units. The price includes shipping, start up kit,and possibly no tax.I'll check on that to make sure. The 60 gallon and up units are the best deals. There is a 7.5 hp unit that has 24 cfm at 175 psi,all cast iron, super quiet that is a beast.I think our price is about $650 off the sale price everywhere else.
No rush though,if DaveO could keep this up on top for a few days for maximum exposure and we can see how much interest there is.

Re: Group Buy from Ingersoll Rand

Hmmmm. I've got one of those overrated, 5 hp peak units. I t works, BUT it runs out of air pretty quick.
Now, if I had the chance to upgrade to a large 7.5 hp unit at a nice price I just may do it. Especially,if it is a qiet unit!
I assume the 7.5hp is a 3 phase unit? As long it is 230 3-ph, I would be interested. Do you have an approximate cost?

Cheers,
Bernhard

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Re: Group Buy from Ingersoll Rand

I would be interested in one of the smaller units like the SS3F2-GM or SS3L3. Of course it all depends on price.

Thanks

Jeff

Re: Group Buy from Ingersoll Rand

Bernard,
first,I can get the 7.5 hp unit in 200/400v-3 ph or 230/460 3 phase. There are several variations available,I will have a price on a 2475N7.5 that is 80 gallon,24.3 cfm @90 and 24cfm @175 psi.It does not include the starter kit,I will price that tomorrow.

For everybody else,I can get 2 different Garagemate 24 gallon units,a vertical SS3R2-GM,horizontal-SS3F2-GM and they are both around $550.They also have the twin stack DD2T2 which is 2 hp,5.3 cfm @40 psi,125 psi max. pressure for $235.The good deals are for the 60 gallon and 80 gallon units. The SS3L3 is $549. The SS5L5 is $745.The 2340L5 60 gallon 2 stage is $999.The 2475N5 is 80 gallon 2 stage,16.8 cfm @175 psi and its $1499.Not to open the flood gates but I'm sure I can get air tools if its in a organized process. If we do the compressor deal I will have to pay for them with a credit card so I will collect first,my wife won't let me gloat multiple compressors. If you are interested in anything on the web site www.air.ingersollrand.com let me know.
