We are pleased to announce our largest Raffle yet -- TEN excellent Lots with a combined value of over $2,500 -- Tickets are $5 each and you will increase your chances of winning with every ticket you buy. You can purchase tickets online -- open the Fall 2009 Raffle Online Purchase Link box in the center of the Index Page by clicking for details (or click on those words for a direct link). The picture above is not the clearest, but you can download an exact copy of these Prizes and the Rules and even a Mail-in Form from our Downloads Library. Just click on the underlined words to get them and print them for your own use, or to pass on to colleagues at work or down the street. You do not need to be a NCWoodworker.net member to enter (but we'd love you to join if you aren't!).

Please read the Rules page for all the nitty-gritty details and take advantage of the Mail-in Form if you'd rather not enter online. Each ticket you purchase will stay in the drawing until all 10 Lots are awarded -- unless it wins a prize! The more tickets you buy, the better your overall chances of winning will be.

If you have questions, please address them to raffleinfo@ncwoodworker.net and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Our profound thanks to all of the companies that have provided prizes for this event. Several are our key advertisers and we appreciate their support! We also thank Junquecol (Bruce Wrenn) for his generous offer of a clamp rack.

Please note that the NCWoodworker, Inc Board of Directors are not eligible to enter the Raffle -- see the Rules for details.

GOOD LUCK!

Re: Fall 2009 Raffle

For those of you trying to figure it out - click on the little blue drop-down arrow in the top right corner of the raffle banner ad.

Admins, that's seriously counter-intuitive - especially because you made the "Fall 2009 Raffle Online Purchase Link" text a link, which just goes to this forum.

Re: Fall 2009 Raffle

Tim, you are a few hours ahead of us. We have been hunting for better replacement buttons for those very counter-intuitive blue buttons for a few days now.

Stay tuned and buy more raffle tickets

Actually, now that I bought a couple, I changed my mind - it's great the way it is, please don't change a thing. The fewer people that find it, the better my odds .

The link thingamabob cannot be that hard to grasp if a flatwooder like me can cipher it out.

Think that depends on how many tickets are sold.

Fall 2009 Raffle Rules
(Closes Nov 16 – Drawing Nov 20)
$5 per Ticket – Funds for Non-Profit Activities
1. The Raffle includes 10 Lots as shown on the announcement. Each ticket is $5, but any number of
additional tickets may be purchased. The Raffle opens on October 19 and closes at 6:00 PM on
November 16, 2009.
2. The Mail-in Form (http://www.ncwoodworker.net/forums/d...do=file&id=245) may be used
for ticket purchases or they may be purchased on NCWoodworker.net website. If purchased online, a
Raffle Link will take you to PayPal. Please remember that you don't have to use or even have a
PayPal account. You may use a credit card or even write an electronic check.
3. Tickets may be purchased by anyone, including persons not registered on the website, except as
noted below in Item 13.
4. Please be certain to include your name, address, email address and Area Code/phone number in your
contact info. North Carolina Woodworker, Inc. shall not be responsible for illegible, incorrect or
incomplete information.
5. Please be certain to include your NCWoodworker.net UserName when asked, if applicable.
6. Online entries will get an online receipt from PayPal. Please keep the Transaction ID or order number.
Printing the entire receipt would be a good idea. Mail-in Entrants will receive a receipt via email.
7. The Raffle will close at 6:00 PM 11/16/2009.
8. Prior to the drawing, all entrants will receive via the email address they provide, their transaction id
and a list of raffle ticket numbers, one number per ticket. None of the entry information will be stored
on the NCWoodworker.net website server and all will be deleted after all prizes have been claimed.
9. Each certified entrant’s raffle numbers will be sent to them by email by 6:00 PM on 11/19/2009.
10. Scott Miller – North Carolina Woodworker, Inc. Events Director will receive a list of all the raffle ticket
numbers. He will ONLY receive the list of all numbers. He will NOT receive any other ticket-holder
information. He will then make individual paper tickets with those numbers.
11. Drawing of the winning tickets will be made by Douglas Robinson – President of North Carolina
Woodworker, Inc. or his designated representative during a luncheon on Friday November 20th.
12. The first winning ticket will be awarded Lot 1. Additional tickets will be drawn for Lots 2, 3 and so on
until the last Lot is awarded. Once drawn, tickets will not be returned to the drawing pool. Winners not
present will be notified by email or telephone and may arrange prize pickup, pay for shipping or allow
the North Carolina Woodworker Pony Express to deliver. If a winner decides they do not want a prize,
a new number will be drawn for that prize at a later date. All prizes will be awarded.
13. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Raffle: Douglas Robinson, Rob Payne, Scott Smith,
Travis Porter, Scott Miller, Stuart Nelson and Tracy Pardue (North Carolina Woodworker, Inc. Board of
Directors) or employees of any of business making a contribution.
14. All proceeds will support the non-profit activities of North Carolina Woodworker, Inc.
Questions regarding these rules may be directed to raffleinfo@ncwoodworker.net.

Re: Fall 2009 Raffle

Jeremy, go ahead and buy tickets, you have 5 days and 7 hrs left.

Who knows, all ten of my tickets may not be winners, there may be a slight chance someone else could win something.

That just means that Jeremy needs to buy at least 20 to double his odds over you!

Come on Jeremy, go for it, these are some great prizes!
