Almost everyone has vacations, family events, etc. scheduled during the summer. Even if you get everyone to agree up front you can count on there being "last minute" things that come up so some will drop out. I think you just need to pick a date and go with it.

July is fine with me-I've got every Sunday off so Sunday's are always better-however I think the Maloof style Rocker class that Jeremy and I are signed up for may end up getting scheduled for July and August which could make it difficult to find available weekends.
Your right though-coordination is a beast-thanks for all your efforts-I'm sure we can find something that pleases the majority of us!

While I know that it may be impossible to find a perfect day, I have to try to find a day that works for the majority of the shop hosts. Without a critical mass of shops the crawl wont get off the ground.

I know I ain't been around a whole lot lately, and I couldn't make it to the picnic, so this is the first I'm hearing about the Charlotte Shop Crawl. I'd be happy to be one of the hosts if it's not too late, let me know (I'm in South Charlotte, near Ballantyne).
Also, if there are enough shops to crawl, maybe you can break it up into two crawls? That way you can visit ones that are close together and spend more time at each. It may make it easier to arrange too. You probably thought of this and ruled it out already for some reason, but I'd figured it couldn't hurt to mention

Actually, I should have mentioned that I won't be around June 14th. I was thinking that Doug wanted to change the dates to July when I posted that response
I'm good for July but not June...sorry

I'd love to tag along with the 'Triad Contingent' on this. Since I'm one of the few native Charlotteans here, I think I could find my way around to the shops. I gotta admit I haven't been in many WW shops besides my dad's either. |
