Charlotte Shop Crawl NEWS!

As I mentioned at the picnic I have been working on the upcoming crawls. The Charlotte crawl will tentatively include the following shops:

PeteQ
Nelsone
Pete Mohr
WoodWrangler
Tdhetrick
GordonMT

and if he will send me a PM with his address: Shuneverno1.

The shops are listed in a proposed order. With just those 6 shops the distance is about 47 miles end to end, not including a lunch stop. Pete/Jeremy got any good restaurant recommendations for lunch?

I propose that we hold this on June 14 or June 21. Both are saturdays. Obviously we will hold it on one of these dates only if ebery one hosting is available that date.

Let me have your feed back. Hosts send me a confirmation that one or both of these dates work for you. Once this is nailed down I will put together the detailed crawl package.

Doug

Looks good. Either of those days should work for me.

As for lunch ... I'll have to get back with you.

I am good for both dates as it stands right now. Things could change for me overnight but for now, it looks good.

Either date is OK by me.

As for lunch; there are a number of restaurants right by Woodcraft. Mexican - Barbecue - Asian - Subs - etc.

Re: Charlotte Shop Crawl NEWS!

Thanks again for setting this up Doug! Sent you a PM with my address! The 14th works out great for me (I work on the 21st) Thanks everybody else for volunteering your shops-I'm looking foward to meeting the other locals. As far as lunch there is a Carolina BBQ by my house and also one on the other side of town on Independence close to Woodcraft.

clamps-clamps-why do I never have enough clamps

As far as I know either date works for me. I have to double check with the activities planner though!

Re: Charlotte Shop Crawl NEWS!

OK assuming one of the dates works for all of the hosts, the Charlotte crawl will include the following shops (in this order):

PeteQ;
Nelsone;
Shuneverno1;
Pete Mohr;
WoodWrangler;
Tdhetrick; and
GordonMT

With these 7 shops the distance is about 58 miles end to end, not including a lunch stop.

We can do lunch near the woodcraft (ANybody have the address of the shopping plaza there?)

The Woodcraft store is at:
1725 Windsor Square Dr.
Matthews, NC 28105

BBQ and sub shops right across the street.

Update: Charlotte Shop Crawl

If we eat lunch accross from the Woodcraft, the total mileage is about 67 miles.

Sorry for the slow response. I can do it the 14th, but not the 21st.

Re: Charlotte Shop Crawl NEWS!

Well it looks like the 14th is the better date. I will finalize the date by next week.

Re: Charlotte Shop Crawl NEWS!

On June 14th, we are holding a double birthday party for my two kids and having some family over, so I won't be able to do it . June 21st is no good either because the family that is visiting is going to house and baby-sit while my wife and I take a long weekend vacation together .

Actually June is a busy month for us. Sorry about that, my tiny shop has actually been shaping up lately. I'll post some pics as soon as I finish this last shop piece.

Re: Charlotte Shop Crawl NEWS!

Maybe we should switch the months for the two crawls around. Hold the South Raleigh one in June and the Charlotte one in July. How is July 13 or 20th for the ChARLOTTE CRAWL HOST?
