Don't anyone look at this as a reprimand. That is not my intention, just a reminder for the members and perhaps some instruction for the new. The only reason, I mention this is becuase it can become important when people are looking the forums for info.

The "How do I" forum is strictly for things on how to do things on the forum, like "which forum is the correct forum for this type of post" or "how do I upload photos".

The "Other Stuff" forum is for questions like "How do I stop the leaks in garage or my bathub"

Moderators start your engines Please start moving to the correct forums and and leave a temprary redirect of 1 week.

Thanks all

Took care of a bunch of them. I think that the problem could be stemming from the lack of a better place to post those threads. See this thread here, please:

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Perhaps if the name of that forum were changed to "Website How-To" instead of "How Do I", it may diminish the wayward posting.

Jim, it is a sub forum of Site Features - How to & Problems and its description is "
Want to know how to do something with this site? Need Help?
"
Not sure if that should be enough
