We now have a new feature on the forum - we can now include attachments in private messages! You will not find a paper clip button in the private message screen, just look for the "Manage Attachments" button down at the bottom. Allowed file types include bmp, doc, gif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, pdf, png, psd, tar, txt, xls, and zip. This is a great way to include a picture in your PM, or to send a file to another forum member.

I just sent a pm with a pic in it just like a regular post. Didn't have to use the "Manage Attachments" button. I don't know if this is in contrary to your info or the same as.

Mike The ability to embed images in PM has always been there as far as I know.
What was added was the attachment feature.

What was added was the attachment feature. Right on, I think I had tunnel vision and didn't think of possibly sending a spreadsheet, etc.
