I need a new name. OK, I have probably lost what is left of my mind, but I have decided to let the members decide on my new user name. I cannot be “newtowood” forever you know. This is going to run for about two weeks (unless the replies continue to come in) and I and the LOML will be the ones to decide the new user name based entirely on suggested names from the members. I am going to do this kinda like a contest with a prize awarded at the end for the member that comes up with the user name that I and the LOML decide on. “Please be kind with your suggestions.” The prize that I have decided on is a donation to North Carolina Woodworker in the name of the winning member. This amount will not be disclosed to the general membership. I will disclose it to Steve and the winning member only. Please, if you pick the winning user name, keep the donation amount to yourself. I can pm my full name to anyone that needs to have it for name purposes. I have contacted my senior partner (DaveO) for approval. Just remember to keep it clean and keep it fun. I enjoy this site so much that I am willing to subject myself to this. I wish all of you luck and may the most creative member win. I can see the bald jokes coming.

TracyXXXXX where XXXX is your last Name or TracyX where X is the last Initial. Consider that my suggestions carry more weight than others

I rather like Steve's idea:

TracyX where X is the last Initial.

There are a few of us who are affiliated with another organization where that type of ID is the norm.

I say use your first and last name like Steve Coles. For some reason it to me demands respect. And that is what a Senior Moderator should have.
