Gathering of NC Woodworkers to follow (further details TBA). Be sure to mark your calendars and set aside time for this event! Start making carpool plans now! We had a great time in previous years! (click to see pics from the 2005 and 2006 Extravaganzas!)
We're still finalizing plans, but Klingspor has once again graciously offered plenty of space for our gathering. There will be plenty of room to show off our work and run some demonstrations (woodturning, scrollsawing, or maybe something else... we're open to ideas & suggestions!). And on Saturday we'll have a nice room to gather together for fellowship and some more of that great BARBECUE!
Once again, in an effort to obtain a reasonable estimate of how many will attend this event, please reply in this thread if you plan to attend. If you can, plan to bring a few projects along to show off!
See you there! | | Views: 4037 |

Looks like I'll be there Friday and Sat. so I'll try and help set up Friday morning if needed. Will take a turn at the booth if needed also! Will be modeling my North Carolina Woodworker clothing (WOW)!! Any ideas on how to keep LOML out of the malls on Friday?? But maybe if I let her go, I'll get to buy my lathe. |

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Sorry to miss the big show. Mike - you have to be there - John was trying to decide whether to thank you and fuss at you for getting me started on my primitive version of carving I come home from work, eat and carve. I make a mess in the living room (which is where I carve) and get nothing else done!
Rob, hate that you can't make it but time with your grandson sounds like fun!
I am excited about getting to meet new members and those I've met before. Maybe someone can show me what I am supposed to be doing when carving?
