Manufacturers and retailers like Klingspor. I always liked to hit the Peachtree vendor in Charlotte, but they are a different show. Demos are mostly of products in action, but the woodturners usually have a group demonstrating all kinds of turning techniques and answering questions about their skills and equipment. Same thing with the local woodcarvers group. Both groups typically set up a fantastic exhibition of their work. The seminars are typically pros showing their techniques. I don't know who the demonstrators will be or what topics they will cover yet.

I've emailed Coleman and he said we should be able to work something out on one of the conference room for NCWWers. I can see us have a cooler with drinks and being able to display peices there. We can even bring in food or have it catered to us. Lots of BBQ places will do it. This could really work out well.

Thanks,

John

Great! For hotel accomodations, there is a Marriott Fairfield Inn and a Marriott Courtyard right next to the convention center. Of course there are others as well, but these are the closest.

Oops! That's the same weekend as the National MWTCA meeting in Chatanooga. I've already got plans to the natinal, so I won't be able to make it to Hickory.

We'll probably be heading up to the mountains for the weekend, so I'll see if we can stop by for a while.
