SteveColes SteveColes is offline 02-25-2008, 12:17 PM

March 1st 9:00 - 3:00
What I hope is that we can have at least 2 people there for those hours. One to man the desk and answer questions about the site and one to actually turn the pens. Since we want to get as many people as possible involved, double discounts, I thought we could do one hour shifts at each.

So here is the sign up sheet. Please only sign up if you are sure you can make it.

Desk:
9 -10 toolferone
10 - 11 Mike L
11 - 12 Doug Robinson
12 - 1 Roger (aka Sapwood)
1 - 2 DaveO (as needed)
2 - 3 sawduster
Demo
9 -10 Woodartz (Bob) Pen Turning
10 - 12 Bas Worksharp
12 - 1 DaveO
1 - 2 ?????
2 - 3 ?????
It is first come first serve. Please reply for time(s) you want and I will update the list.

Steve,
Will you have any of the "brochures" for the table?
IIRC we had a PDF file about NCWWer somewhere
Anything else we need to bring for table?

Roger

Roger,

There is a copy of the latest North Carolina Woodworker flyer in our download library under "North Carolina Woodworker Related".

(I would have liked to attend, but have a family commitment I can't get out of!!!)

Thanks,

Wayne

Ok you triangle lathe owners... time to man-up (or woman-up ). Give back to the forum, that we all know and love .

Don't leave me and DaveO hangin'. I'll crumble under the pressure... I might even glue my bushings to my blank... and then I'll say blankety blank... in public no less! We need some more support. I mean, DaveO is expecting to learn something from me and I'm not that good... we're in trouble here folks

So, please step out of your recliners (or shops) and come make a pen or three. Take one for the team !

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Steve,

Family plans have changed for me and I am available to help if needed. I don't do lathe (sorry), but maybe I can take over Daves 1-2 desk slot, or help in any other way. Just let me know if you need me, and what time.

Steve, the Worksharp demo slipped in with this post by Paul.
Last exchange I had with Bas he didn't know when Paul wanted him there. However, I'm bringing some chisels/handplane blades to Klingspor for Bas to demo I'll try to be there around 11-11:30 am and Bas is bringing his Worksharp per thread.

I printed 20 copies of "brochure" for table.

Roger

Steve,

I'll be there before noon, let me know if I need to bring anything.

Bas replied to Paul Rolfes thread on a Sawstop demonstration, I wasn't sure that you saw it.
