I need a 1" thick disk turned that is 7 7/8" inch in diameter. Would like it in oak or some other kind of hard wood.

The second one I need is 1" by 7 3/4" in a hard wood.

If some one close to Charlotte can help me out please let me know.

Thanks!

I might be able to help you out. I have some white oak drying in my shed, so depending on what you need it for it may work. Of course if the dimensions are critical we will need to use KD wood, but I have some scrap cherry and hard maple that may be big enough. My lathe isn't the best, but I should be able to turn these for you. PM me with details and we can see if it will work out.

I can do it, if you don't find someone closer to you.

Barry, I live in Rockwell and go to Davidson every Tuesday and Thursday. I will be glad to help you out. How do you want the grain oriented? I also have quite a selection of woods to choose from, depending on your need. Send me a PM.
