Just setting up my first shop. Yippee. 57 years in the making--if you know what I mean. Want to go with well made and reliable equipment. Read where Laguna makes a really good bandsaw. Where can one see these and purchase in the Raleigh area?

I have visited WoodCraft in Raleigh, but they do not have the Lagunas.

Other option might be to go for a Rikon. I welcome your comments.

As far as I know, you'll need to order the Laguna from their website or by calling them. Not aware of any showroom. If you want to see one, head to the next show in your area where they bring in equipment to touch.

I have a Laguna LT24 and I can vouch for the superiority of the saw ... not even in the same ballpark as a Rikon (though you might want one of those too... haha). That's like comparing a tank with a explorer.

Laguna's saws do get some of the best ratings and are awesome saws.

Some local options here in NC are INVICTA and AGAZZANI from Adwood.

http://www.invicta-usa.com/ - The importer is J & G Machinery in Sanford, NC. Some of the best people in the business.

http://www.adwood.com - I'm not sure how many of these saws they are importing these days, but it's worth a phone call.

Felder also has a showroom in MD.

All in all, the Laguna will likely be the route you go, but I thought I'd mention a couple of other options.

Ron, I also have a Laguna 24" and it is a great saw. I had a MM20 before this and I like the Laguna much better. Right now Laguna is making deals and they are offering FREE SHIPPING . Good luck, Dino
