I am looking for 10-12 bd ft of cedar for a project. My design uses mostly 4" wide cuts, 36"L and 17" L. Any info on sources within 2 hours drive of Winston-Salem, including reclaimed wood, is appreciated. (Trying to give business to someone beside BORG).

I do not have a planer, so I hope to score some wood needing light sanding before finishing. In case the wood needs planing, perhaps someone near Yadkinville has a planer, and I can mooch some tool time.

Posted a day late - I've got plenty of 4/4 ERC and could have asked Geroge to bring some on the Pony Express, but the pony express left today...

Jeff, you know how it goes: if you buy today, it is on sale tomorrow. If you wait for a sale, it gets sold out. When you realize you need it, it is to late to get it.

Mike, do you need that 4" to 2 1/2" reducer I got laying around?

Tom---I may have that much on hand if you want to drive to Salisbury for it. I have some odds and ends that may yield what you need. We can process it ready to sand here in my shop.

I have about 300 bf of 4" 5/4 stock.. nice red color.

I assume you mean eastern red cedar. The BORGS typically only carry western.
