Question

Does anyone have a good source for M2 HSS for making their own turning tools? I remember reading some posts about this earlier, but I can't find them now. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if this thread has any info on where to get HSS, but member Handturnedbowls makes his own tools and would be a good person to contact for sources. Thread: http://ncwoodworker.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1471

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

I'll second contacting HandturnedBowls for the metal source. He's made some, and has alot of knowledge.

That is one great tutorial by handturnedbowls. I'm very glad to have read it and it also contains an excellent source for the steel that I'm looking for. Thanks everyone.
