Rigid R4330 planer

Can anyone tell me where to get this planer? I went to HD and they told me if they didn't have it in stock or on the website I couldn't get it through them. Help anyone?

Anna-Catherine,

Check other HDs in your area. My local never seems to have one but I was in the Hendersonville HD about a week ago and they had one in stock.

Check craigslist, it's where I got my Ridgid planer and they come up there all the time. (Raleigh craigslist had three come up just today!)

Re: Rigid R4330 planer

Anna-Catherine, any reason that you seek out this particular planer? There is a very highly rated Dewalt 735 for sale right now in the classifieds. I think that it is priced just a bit under what you would pay for a new R4330.
Just a thought.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Re: Rigid R4330 planer

The HDs have to get rid of the older models before they get that new one in. The HD in Garner had one of each when I got mine a few months ago. You might be able to talk one of the "service people" into pulling up the SKU number for you so you can call around and see if a local or not so local HD has one in stock.

If I didn't already have one I would be buying that DeWalt that DaveO is talking about. It's a better machine for about the same price.
