Does anyone know where in the Triad area I could find a place to get a 48" round table top? Either ready made or cut to order.
Also, does anyone have any idea what it would cost? |

Barb: VanDyke Restorers has table top blanks in oak and maple. I just got a new catalogue from them. I ordered legs and a pedestal from them a while back to to "Bob's Table" which is pictured in my gallery. We actually made this table top from white oak boards. They also have the skirts. Just Google Vandykes and you should be able to see them. Let me know if I can help.

There's a granite quarry in Mt. Airy, I bought the slab for my wood stove there. http://www.ncgranite.com/aboutgranite.asp
You'll have to call and ask about the round, I'm sure they can do it but I don't know the cost. They have marble and granite from all over the world but the Mt. Airy white is quarried locally. It is the largest open face granite quarry in the world. | |
