I live in Hickory and I am looking for a lumber source. Any suggestions.

I'm in Hickory too. Catawba is the place to go, but you have to watch out if you buy less than 100 bdft. They will jack the price $0.50 a bdft if you try to buy less unless they know you pretty well. They aren't open on the weekends and are only open 8-5 M-F. If you want to buy smaller quantities PM me and I'll pick it up with my next stop and save you some $$$. They don't charge me the markup because historically I've bought a lot of lumber.

Thanks,

John

Without knowing you were going to be there I was there on lunch. I was probably there from 12:15 till about 12:30.

Bought some awsome 8/4 cherry that was figured.
