Does anyone know what the going rate is for straight line rip one edge / S2S / trim to length / S4S? I see pricing all over the place looking at different sites on the Internet.

Thanks

Wouldn't the type of wood affect the price?

Here is the prices from the hardwoodstore. It is listed at the bottom of the page.

Surfaced two sides, add $0.25/bd.ft.
Straight line ripping add $0.15/bd.ft.
Rip both edges add $0.40/bd. ft.

Wall Lumber charges $ .40 bd. ft. to S2S.

Anchor Hardwoods here in Wilmington does not charge for straight edge jointing and S2S on lumber bought from them. Everything else (llumber carried in, drum sanding, resawing, etc.), there is a per hr. shop charge.

It took a minute to realize this was not talking about actually buying wood.

And at .25 bdft, I was going to be on this like a monkey on a bannana...
