Hi,

I am going to be doing some segmented turning and wanted to know if anyone might have any dark wood rip off cuts. I can use anything from 3/4" inch wide and any lengths. I have a light looking red oak (thank you Max_in_Graham) and am looking for something to contrast it with. I am in the Raleigh/Durham area but am willing to travel.

I have Walnut as well as other woods you can pick through.
I live in Fuquay and work in Cary.
I could bring some along to Cary (64 and US1 area)

I PMed him about a bunch of offcuts I have saved "just in case". I drive right past 1 & 64 every day so we could probably make one big pile for him instead of 2 little ones.
