I getting ready to teach a couple of the guys how to make a few Adirondack chairs and side tables for thier porches. I figure I will need approx. 75-100 bd ft, good rough lumber will do., as I have a planner and jointer. Likely want to purchase in the next couple of weeks.
Appreciate it of any of you folks can point me to a good source.

I would also call the NC Hardwood Store, and East Wake Hardwoods to see if they have any in stock. Heck, you might just go down the NC Wood Suppliers list for the Triangle area and check all the places.

Name: Dolan Brown City: Wallace State: NC County: Duplin Join Date: Dec 2005 Age: 60 Avg Visit Freq/Week = 5.21 over 180 days | I have purchased 250 BF (1 " x 6" x 12') of cypress from Turn Bull Lumber (see section 4 on the NC Wood Suppliers list) in the last few months. I was well pleased with the wood and service. See my photo gallery of the Gardener's bench for some examples of the last I got and also the Adirondack chairs I made this summer. It was $.90 bf air dried app 18% moisture at time I got it. You have to call and order it from Jay and you can only pick it up on Wednesdays. No credit cards but check is okay. Drive your truck/trailer up to the office and they bring it out on a forklift and set it on your truck/trailer.
