Good Morning...... 
I am searching for a set of plans to build a basic rocker. I have plans for an adirondak style, but am looking for something a bit more formal. I've never built one, but my best friend's wife is pregnant and I figure that gives me just enough time to build one for a new mama. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Dave, if you want something more formal and elegant you ought to check out the Maloof Style Rocker Class John Richards (a.k.a. Woodguy1975) will be teaching in Aug. He can teach you how to build a rocker like the one shown here.

You can get plans (and videos) of Norn building rocker on New Yankee workshop website. Looks like a fairly simple design. http://www.newyankee.com/getproduct3.cgi?609
There are also lots of paterns on U-bild.com although I haven't looked up rockers there. | |
