Does anyone work in building HVAC repair? I'm now in business with a friend who owns 22 rental units. I'm taking on all of the repair/maintanence. I'm in pretty good shape between what I can do myself and the friends that I have who work in various trades...except for HVAC. Any recommendations of someone reliable and not too expensive? I'd prefer to do business with someone who does it "on the side" or atleast a little "mom and pop" business. As you can imagine, 22 units with the first week in the mid 80's...I've had a few calls recently...

Good luck in finding someone to work under the table or moonlighting.
Most HVAC people in the Carolinas are really getting busy now.
Expect to pay at leat $130.00 for the most basic service calls and this is most likely low.

Well, I replied to a "services offered" ad on Craigslist. We'll see how it turns out.
