Re: Drill Doctor DD750X

A couple of friends of mine have Drill Dr and each has claimed that their bits are now so sharp they practically jump through the drilled material. Drill bits are better than new after being sharpened on this thing.

Re: Drill Doctor DD750X

I'll vouch for that. I've got a Model 300 (IIRC) and it does a great job on non-brad-point bits up to 1/2" or more.

Re: Drill Doctor DD750X

I've had a 750 for 3 years and you cannot beat it.
It will make split bits, sharpens 2 different angles and masonary bits.
That's a great price.
Oh yeah the 750 does bits up to 3/4"

Re: Drill Doctor DD750X

Well thanks to you guys I just spent $150 on amazon.... Thanks! I jumped on the Drill Doctor and picked up a few other odds and ends that Klingspors near me doesn't have. I can't want to get this thing home and try it out. I have been looking at them for over a year now and decided that now was the time.

A few questions though, is there a way to do less the 3/32" drills? Also, how long should that little wheel in there last? Again thanks for the heads up on the sale price!

Re: Drill Doctor DD750X

As the owner of a sharpening business, I need machinery that works well. I purchased a Drill Doctor several years back and have had zero complaints and plenty compliments on the results. I have no doubt that you'll be pleased with this relatively inexpensive purchase. Good luck! BTW, this machine is extremely easy to operate.

Re: Drill Doctor DD750X

I sure like mine. First time I've ever had sharp bits every time I need them. Good value for the money and the video is good too!
