I need someone to re-wire 2 existing 110 outlets into one 220 outlet. I have a good stash of figured hardwood if someone would like to make a trade. I will buy all needed materials...after I know what I need.

You can't beat a man at his own game.

If we lived closer, I would come rewire it for you, no figured wood trade necessary- I presently have no plans to be in the Raleigh area any time soon. I'm not sure I understand your intent, combining (2) 120 volt outlets into (1) 240 volt outlet. There will have to be at least "some" work done in the source panel serving these circuits by installing a common trip 2-pole breaker to serve the "new" 240 volt outlet. How the wiring is run and other outlets on the circuit will also be important in properly converting the "one" outlet to 240 volt.
