I went to their place in Weaverville (North of Asheville) a few weeks ago to purchase a piece of spanish cedar for a humidor that I plan to build and was amazed at the selection of exotic woods that they have in stock. They were very gracious in showing me around, so I think it's time to give them a plug. Take a look at their website for an idea of what they offer.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Fabs Cort is the owner and I think his brother has a sawmill in Africa that they import the wood directly, that's what I remember anyway. They have a large stock of a wide range of exotic species. They also supply a lot of the exotics to Woodcraft. |
