CNC work

The LOML's birthday is comming up and I was going to get her a CNC routed picture of her and the grandson. 2 years ago her and I were at the Woodworking Show here in Charlotte and spoke to a vendor with CNC machines. She loved the work he displayed. He stated that he did some side work in the Concord area I thought, however I have lost his info. Can anyone help or knows of anywhere I can get this done?

Maybe I can convense her that I need a new tool to make her birtday present.

Several members here have the Router Crafter, which does that kind of work.

Re: CNC work

I thought about telling her that I needed a new tool to make her birthday present. But once she heard how much it would cost she would just take the money. I would be out the money and no new tools.

I'll wage that many on this site could scroll it for you quicker and neater, and perhaps even relieve you of that money (or not).

Re: CNC work

No I had not thought about a scrolled portrait. That is a good idea I would be intrested in trying that myself. How is the best way to get it layed out to cut.
