bandsaw blade welding?

Anyone have a recommendation for a shop in the Triangle area that does high quality bandsaw blade welding at a reasonable price? In particular they should able to work with a carbide blade. Thanks

I think that Raleigh Saw http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...&q=Raleigh+Saw
does that type of work. You should check with Toolferone to make sure, he works there.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Re: bandsaw blade welding?

I will have to check on the carbide, but I don't think that is a problem. Our welder is good up to 1-1/8" wide. We charge $5 a weld. If it is a broken weld you lose about 3/8" to1/2" when you cut out the bad weld and reweld it, so make sure the blade will still fit after loosing some length.
