Evenng all,

I could use some assistance with this. Looking for 3/8"-1/2" thick, 8'-10' long, 3'-4' wide....need to do some rework on the old boat. Would be great if you know a place not too distant a drive frm the Raleigh/Durham area, but it is what it is....
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Tony ...

I don't know first hand if they carry it, but I would call either the Raleigh Hardwood Center http://www.hardwoodgroup.com/ or Horizon Forest Products http://knox3.com/~horizonf/cabinets.shtml.
If they don't carry it they should be able to order it or at least direct you in the right direction.
HTH,
Dave

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Capital City Lumber stocks 4 X 8's. What used to be West Durham Lumber(off Hillsboro road just west of Hillandale Rd, just over the tracks) could probably order it for you. Now they are called Talberts. Really nice folks to deal with. Last winter, I needed some fence posts for a split rail fence. They ordered them and called me when they were in- no prepayment required. I don't think anybody else still does this-WOW!

World Panel Products of Windsor is about 2 hours from Raleigh. The phone number is 252-794-9944. They carry a good selection of marine plywood, Teak and other boat building woods.
