Anybody Have a Talon Chuck Key??

I got what I thought was a great deal on a brand new Talon Chuck with the insert and two jaw sets from Klingspor on Monday evening but realized when I got home that the Geared chuck Key and T-handle that was missing was $47 plus shipping from Oneway.There has to be one out there somewhere that is not being used anymore for one of a million reasons.Come on guys,make my day ,I will trade for turning blanks if that will sway someone.

Was the missing part the reason for the great deal? If not then Klingspor should give you a chuck key out of one of theirs off the shelf. You might also contact Oneway and tell them it was missing out of the box and see what they say. Let us know how it goes

I have to be honest and say I went stupid

when I heard the deal.I made a counter offer when "I" noticed the key was not there.At the time I did not know that the keys were $50+.The deal was because the insert was stuck in the chuck and It was for a 1 1/4x8 spindle which most guys want a bigger chuck for.I have to get this solved,I now have a chuck that I bought used that has a wobble and this one that I can't use because I don't have a chuck key.I just want to get back to turning you know!
