I could get it to Phil Ashley and he could bring it home with him. The tools are Harbor Freight tools that came with it. They aren't the top of the line, if you keep them sharp they'll do a pretty good job.

Let me know.

How did I get sucked in to delivering a lathe? ...I can if need be.

I strongly suggest you post some actual pics of the lathe and the tools especially for your craigslist post. I myself rarely contact anyone who uses a literature pic. I figure they got something to hide.

that's my .o2

I'll take you to lunch if Jeremy really wants it and you don't mind delivering. Otherwise he'll have to come get it. Thanks for the suggestion on the lathe. I'll get it out and take some actual pics of it this weekend.

We need to have lunch again sometime soon. How about next week? I'll shoot you an email and we can coordinate.

I have someone interested in the lathe. He is supposed to stop by tomorrow morning to take a look. I also told him about North Carolina Woodworker and hopefully he'll join us. I'll let you know how things turn out.

Bump!!! The lathe is sold.

I made a friend today and hopefully we'll gain a new member. His name is Ben and I hope he enjoys the lathe.

I've used it for about 20 minutes. It's pretty much brand new and in great shape. I do not have room for it in my garage. Includes 6'' sanding disc, spur drive, face plate, live center, table, and miter gauge. It does not have a stand, but it would be easy to build one.

Motor: 1/2 HP, 110V, 60 Hz, 5.5 amps
Speeds (RPM): 1125, 1640, 2360, and 3450
Swing over bed: 14''
Distance between center: 40''
MT2 live center (this is on the tail stock)
Bed: 2 lengths 1-3/4'' steel tubing
Tool rest: 11-3/4''
Drive: V-belt
Overall size: 57-1/2'' x 8-1/2'' x 14''
Tool weight: 88 lbs.

*It does not have a stand.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

I'm hoping he joins this weekend. He seemed pretty interested. I've also got to figure out what to do with the money burning a hole in my pocket. I'm sure I can get suggestions here.
