Just in time for Christmas:

1) Lathe: the famous HF 34706 12x36 lathe. A full size 3/4 HP lathe with 12" over the bed and a swivelling headstock for larger projects.

Very good condition, but a bit dirty from spilled finish. In addition to the normal accessories (drive spur, live center, etc), this is a package deal including a scroll chuck and extra faceplates. $180

2) Biscuit joiner: Porter Cable 556. This is the old upright style joiner with the fixed 45/90 degree fence. Very good condition. Includes the original steel case, tools, owner's manual. If you want an inexpensive joiner, this is the deal for you. $50.

I'm sure somebody is going to jump on those, especially with your asking prices!

Chris, I am surprised you could so easily pass on that offer considering your suffering from a full blown case of "Woodguy Disease". You must be getting some radical new treatment The lathe is a great deal, and if it wasn't the holidays I would jump on it. But alas, I am broke

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Maybe he gets the same antidote that I do. It's not new, but is very effective against "Woodguy Disease" and all disorders relating to "toy acquisition".

It's called "Rathernotsleeponthecouchatall (TM)".
