Hi Everyone,

I've been in the area for about 10 years now, originally from The Netherlands (or Holland as it's usually called). After watching one too many episodes of TOH and Woodworks I decided this was something I'd like to do. That was about 6 months ago. Since then, I've progressed from just making sawdust to also making wood chips!

My current project is getting the shop rewired so I can upgrade to a decent table saw. Being able to run the dust collector at the same time as the tools would also be nice. I've found that running them separately doesn't really do much.

Bas.

Welcome to the sawdust pile Bas. Lots of good info on this site. You are from a beautiful country. I enjoyed my visit there a few years ago.

Hi Bas,

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Mark - thanks for the offer, I'll take you up on that as soon as I master stripping screws.
Tom - The Dutch pick on the Belgians, but I'm sure we can substitute nationalities

Man, you look so much like a friend of mine named Karssiens that it's eerie! Right now he's a Dutchman living in Shanghai!
