I just signed up the other day. I work and live in the Raleigh area. I picked up woodworking as a hobby about 2.5 years ago and have been enjoying all of the challenges that come with it. I believe I have moved from beginner to beginner-intermediate, and have tried to upgrade my tools when I can. I look forward to making new WW contacts in the area.

Bill, welcome to the saw dust pile. I also live in Cary. I am near Cary Pkwy and Tryon Rd. Fell free to stop over sometime. I am no expert but I know enough to get by. Glad to share.

Welcome, Bill. Don't pay any heed to those who fallen prey to the vortex of woodturning. The only safe wood is flat wood!

Re: new member

Welcome to the site, Bill!

There is a bunch of us right in here in the greater Cary area. We are a friendly bunch and have no problem suggesting new tools to add to ones shop lineup!

If you are ever in need of some help with a project or assistance in moving stuff around in your shop, feel free to give a shout-out!!

I look forward to reading your future posts and seeing some of your work posted in your photo gallery.

Have fun!

Wayne
